What's your major and why did you choose it?
I am a first year at LSU School of Veterinary Medicine. I knew I wanted to be a veterinarian since first grade. I was raised with a mini farm/zoo and also showed dogs around the country. I love interacting with both animals and people.

What do you plan to do when you graduate?
I will probably work in a small animal clinic with other veterinarians for a few years to gain some experience. I would love to have my own clinic one day. I have also thought about specializing in theriogenology (reproduction) or dermatology.

Name one thing people shouldn't miss in your college town.
Everyone MUST experience a Louisiana Saturday night in Death Valley to watch the Tigers dominate college football! A few of my local favorite restaurants are The Chimes and Louie’s Café. The Chimes has the best red beans and rice, fried alligator, and seafood gumbo. They are also famous for their ‘Round the World’ beer and over 40 imported and domestic beers on tap. Louie’s Café is my favorite late night restaurant that is open 24 hours and serves some wonderful breakfast!

How would your best friends describe you?
spontaneous, fun, determined, honest, caring, and down to earth.

my Dirt Devil Cone handheld vacuum, Kitchen Aid stand mixer, Potterybarn, Anthropologie, J.Crew, and red wine.

When nobody's watching, what can we catch you doing?
blare Mariah Carey in my car and sing my heart out.

What would your ideal vacation be?
Costa Rica. Mountains, volcanoes, beaches, rainforests, baby sea turtles, monkeys, toucans, sloths…what more could I ask for?

Describe your best Halloween costume.
this year I will attempt Lara Croft from Tomb Raider.

If you won the lottery, what would you do?
start a foundation for animals that have been hit by cars or other tragedies to pay for their medical bills when the owners cannot afford it. I would love to buy a sailboat and sail the Mediterranean and Caribbean Oceans.

If you could do something completely spontaneous right now and not get in trouble you would?
If I would tell, I would probably get in trouble.

Where is the most beautiful place you've ever been?
St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands for my photoshoot! The beaches, our villa, and the Caribbean Ocean were indescribable. It is crazy to look at the cover of the Sports Illustrated 2008 swimsuit edition and see Marissa Miller shooting on the same beaches as we did.

What is your most prized possession?
my English Springer Spaniel, Louie and my tan suede and mink vintage jacket from my grandmother.

Tell us something you'd love to do but are too scared to try.
I would love to scuba dive, but I am scared that I would feel like I couldn’t breathe and would freak out.

How do you impress a cute guy at a bar?
Initially, I would probably toss my hair out of nervous habit, but then I would be myself, be confident, and have fun with my friends!

What can a guy do to impress you?
have a special bond with my dog, be ambitious, spontaneous, confident, and outgoing.

As a kid, did you get into trouble?
I was called “Sneaky Snake” because I would win the Easter egg hunts by stealing eggs out of other kids baskets when their backs were turned.

What's your best quality?
I am motivated and dedicated.

Do you have a hidden talent?
hmmm… still trying to figure that one out.

Tell us something that people wouldn't believe about you.
grew up on a farm, and I am a country girl. One of my hobbies is showing dogs around the country. I can hold a conversation in sign language. I have been skydiving.

What has been your best memory of college so far?
Saturday nights in Tiger Stadium.
